April 8th Bike Path Cleanup-School service project 9:00 AM. Please meet at our section of the bike path by the Williamstown Bridge. *** Reminder from Mr. Fred Smith who is coordinating our cleanup efforts: Please bring rakes and gloves for spreading mulch. And, recommend they bring drinking water (but it looks like it will be cool that day). If our group is eager beavers I’m sure the Dragon Boat volunteers who own the next stretch would appreciate weeding.
Plan is to clean 6 beds, mulch and pick-up trash along our section of the path that extends from 2nd St to 4th St. If the students bring their bikes for a ride after the clean-up we can use the repair station at 4th St to pump up tires, test brakes and I’ll have some oil for chains.
Thank you to our parents and students for volunteering your time and to Mr. Smith for all of his efforts with this project!
