Welcome to Our Home and School Association!   Here are just a few of the things we do to benefit St. Mary Catholic School:

  • Provide parents, teachers, and parishioners opportunities to work together for the benefit of the students
  • Serve as a vehicle of communication between the home and the school
  • Organize school volunteer programs
  • Sponsor academic projects and various activities
  • Raise funds to meet school needs and educational materials and equipment

How Can You Help?

We welcome the involvement of student families and our parish family!  Please consider giving your time and talents to one of our many activities or fundraisers.

Fundraisers like fall and spring flower sales, Santa Shop, and the book fair provide much needed funds for the school, which means improved educational materials and equipment for your child’s classroom.  We even try to fund teacher wish lists when possible!  Volunteering to organize one of these fundraisers or encouraging friends and family to participate in them is a great way to get involved in your child’s education.

Home and School also sponsors fun and educational activities around events like Catholic Schools Week, TV Turnoff Week, and Right to Read Week—all of which enrich the academic experience.  Without parent involvement and committees to run these events, they would not happen.

By participating in Home and School activities and fundraisers, you’re making St. Mary’s School the best environment it can be for your child.

Working parents can help too!  There are many things that can be done to help with Home and School functions behind the scenes at home.  See any Home and School officer for more details!
