Preschool 3, Preschool 4 & Pre-Kindergarten
Preschool 3 and Preschool 4
St. Mary is pleased to have Miss Stephanie McCutcheon as our Preschool 3 teacher, Mrs. Kim Kytta as our Preschool 4 teacher and Mrs. Erin Wojcik as our PreKindergarten teacher. P3 and P4 are both offered 5 days a week with half day or full day options available for Preschool. Preschool will provide a perfect stair step into the very successful Pre-K program or into Kindergarten. With half day and full day options, parental flexibility is optimized as well as your child’s education. The teachers have created a curriculum that will combine the best programs available to engage and educate your child.

Pre-Kindergarten
PRE-KINDERGARTEN
St. Mary Catholic School’s Pre-K program began in 2011. The goal for the Pre-K class is to ensure school readiness with an active and fun, yet structured environment. A foundation for respect, communication, cooperation and learning from one another is the basis for each day.
A robust academic environment is implemented with the A Beka curriculum for Phonics, Math, Writing, Science and Language Arts. Health, manners, and character training add to the development of the whole child. Activities involving creative thinking and decision making help nurture a lifelong interest in learning. Religion is incorporated into all areas of the curriculum, with Religion class using the Allelu curriculum by Our Sunday Visitor.
Pre-K students also enjoy Music, Art, P.E., Computer, Library, and Language classes. Two outside recess times, a half hour rest period, snack and lunch round out the day.
The Pre-K class meets daily from 9:00–3:35, with busing available for transportation. Class size is limited to 14 students, ages 4- to 5-years old. The children in Pre-K wear regular street clothes, in regulation with our policy.
