St. Mary Elementary School is happy to announce the formation of a new Pre-Kindergarten program for the 2011-2012 school year. This program is open to 4-year olds (must be 4 by August 1st) and 5-year olds.

The Pre-K program is an option for children who are old enough to start Kindergarten but whose parents feel they might benefit from an extra year or Pre-Kindergarten preparation. This new program is a full-day traditional pre-Kindergarten program, which will equip students with the tools that will make Kindergarten an easier transition academically, socially, and spiritually. The Pre-Kindergarten program will be a standalone class and the students will not divide their time between the preschool and Kindergarten classrooms.

The Pre-Kindergarten program will follow the A Beka Program curriculum, which is a Christian-based approach to education. The texts are written from a biblical world view.

We will continue to offer our Montessori preschool program, which is for 3 and 4 year olds (must be 3 by August 1st). Therefore, we have 2 program options for 4 year old children - the half-day Montessori preschool class or the full-day Pre-Kindergarten class.

All bingo proceeds benefit the operation of our school. If you are unable to work on your assigned evening, please make arrangements to have a substitute.  If you are interested in becoming a Manager or Caller, please contact us.
